We love the green-curry and chori burger. The pizza was burnt so we were not able to enjoy it. The place is great.

I wasn't able to return here for years but I still find the food and service commendable and worth recommending to friends after I've dined here again today. Budget friendly but surprisingly worth it.

Cafe de Argus – A Cozy Culinary Hideaway in Bacolod Tucked near Capitol Lagoon Park, Cafe de Argus is one of those rare spots that feels like a secret you’re glad to share. With its quiet ambiance and eclectic menu, it’s the kind of place where you can sip, savor, and stay awhile—whether you're catching up with friends or escaping into a solo moment of calm. The menu is a delightful mash-up of comfort food and creative twists. Their Spanish sardines pasta and beef salpicao are local legends, while the salted egg chicken wings and truffle mushroom pasta offer indulgence without pretense. And if you’re just here for a snack, the Tachos de Argus and cheesy potato croquettes are perfect for sharing—or not. Coffee lovers will appreciate the well-brewed blends, and the mango shake is a crowd favorite for good reason. The staff are consistently praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, adding to the café’s reputation for great service and good vibes. Prices are reasonable, portions generous, and the atmosphere? Just right—quiet enough for reflection, warm enough for connection. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Cafe de Argus offers a taste of Bacolod that’s both comforting and memorable.

Food was really good and reasonably priced. I liked everything we ordered except maybe for the pork backribs, which was a bit dry. Nice place and good staff. Would love to go back.

I come from Germany the food is so good here and cheap I have eaten in expensive restaurants here in Bacolod where the food was not nearly so good. A café which is actually a restaurant in my eyes Such a good place to eat .

5 stars if they change the pepperoni pizza into a something else. Did not liked it. Anyways, aside from that, it's a very good place to hang and talk with friends. Following safety protocols of course. Reasonable price and easily located. Recommended!

A very original café. Every table is different made of well chosen recuperation material. It's a very good surprise. Add to that very good drinks like shakes in particular the mango shake, made from fresh fruits with no sugar added. The dessert was well presented and delicious. The personnel are very friendly, sympathetic and professional. The prices are very affordable, so why go to impersonal outlets and pay double without quality and self-service...
